Pintail Aviation has an FAA certified Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA), with certified flight instructors to handle all of your needs. Instruction begins with a packet of manuals that are yours to keep, classroom instruction, computer simulation and of course our instructors are available to you nearly anytime. We want to get you up in the air!
As you complete each section of the ground school and manuals, you will have a chance to practice what you have learned by going up in the air with one of our instructors! We will take you up in one of our BushCaddy’s, one of the world’s finest bush aircraft. Imagine taking the afternoon to fly to your favorite fishing spot, landing in the water to throw out your pole.
You will have a chance to be at the instruments, knowing that you are safe with one of our professional instructors. In no time at all, you will be so comfortable you won’t even need us! And when its time for you to do your FAA testing and licensing, we are there for you to help you through the licensing process.
Basic package for flight instruction begins at $2995.00*
This package includes:
• Instruction packet with textbooks
• Test prep CD rom
• Flight bag
• Plotter
• Log book and online ground school.
• 20 (FAA required) hours of flight time with a qualified instructor
• 15 -20 minutes of prep time before each flight
Any additional hours needed are $94 per hour.
This price includes bonus ground school session on mountain flying and a Class B endorsement so you can fly by or land at any public airport.
